Wicker Hills Golf Course in Hale
This course, which opened a new back nine in 1997, is based on the Scottish-links design. The fairways are fairly wide and are open. The greens are very sloped and quite slow. The old front nine has hilly, tree-lined fairways. Some of the greens and tees are elevated. There are two ponds that come into play on three holes. The greens are undulating and well bunkered.
