Whiteface Inn Resort & Club in Lake Placid
This is one of the best courses in the north country. This scenic course has narrow fairways and was built on rolling hills. The medium-sized greens are undulating and difficult to read. A pond comes into play on #14, a 218-yard, par 3. The signature hole is #6, a 490-yard, par 5, which requires a tee shot directly at Whiteface Mountain from off an elevated tee to a dogleg left fairway.
