Waimea Country Club in Kamuela
This is not your typical Hawaiian resort course. It was built on pasture lands and is wide open, yet there are many Ironwood trees that can affect your shots. The front nine is not as hilly as the back nine. All the fairways are defined by a standard cut of rough, and the large greens are slightly sloped and fast. The weather conditions are generally very chilly, so bring a sweater. On many days the weather can be real foggy and rainy.
