Vernon Hills Golf Course in Vernon Hills
This course, which has been ranked as one of the top ten nine hole courses in the Chicagoland area, features narrow fairways and small greens. The terrain is rolling, and a creek comes into play on seven holes. Dick Nugent redesigned the course a few years after it originally opened. Senior discounts are available on weekdays only. A new clubhouse was constructed in 1996 and cart paths were added in 1997.
