This course was spread across 300 acres of sand dunes, cranberry bogs, tall pines, and miniature oak and beech trees. The greens vary in size depending on the length of each hole. The short holes have small-sized greens, and the long holes have large greens. There are 80-foot drops and steep ravines that will test your abilities. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 4th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and in the category of "Top 75 Upscale Courses" it was ranked 33rd. The same publication named it the 10th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 8th in 1997-98.
