The Quest at Houghton Lake in Houghton Lake
This course features a PGA Tour-designed layout. Water hazards come into play on about six holes. This relatively new course features a full practice facility. The fairways were built on rolling terrain, so you can expect some uneven lies, and most holes are lined by trees. The signature hole is #9, a 375-yard, par 4, which is highlighted by a 250-yard long sand bunker that runs alongside the fairway, and requires a tee shot from off an elevated tee. The club personnel alluded to plans for future condominiums to be built alongside the course, plus a hotel. At present there are no accommodations offered at this site.
