The Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse
This upscale public golf facility is located in upstate New York, but the flat terrain makes you believe you're playing in Florida. Locals say this is a definite target course as forty-two acres of water hazards come into play on fourteen holes. The narrow fairways are tree lined, and the greens are medium-sized and somewhat sloped. One of the most difficult holes is #2, a 602-yard, par 5, featuring a tee box set relatively level to the green and requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green.
