The Legends of Indiana Golf Course - Course 1 in Franklin
This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The courses are best described as being part links-style and part Southern-style design. The greenskeeper planted 250 additional pine trees in 1997 to enhance the scenery and provide more obstacles. The courses were built on flat terrain and feature three lakes, five creeks, and 135 crushed limestone bunkers. Every green is elevated. This facility is the home of the IGA/PGA Hall of Fame. "Golf Digest" rated the Creek to Middle Course as the 6th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. This club hosted the 1996 Indiana Amateur tournament.
