Tanasi Golf Club in
This hilly course opened in July, 1996, and the course only reciprocates with members of other golfing communities. The fairways are wide open, but keep your shot straight because plenty of trees protect the borders. The greens are extremely quick and well-bunkered. Water hazards come into play on four holes. The most scenic hole is #17, a 191-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water and onto a very large, undulating green, which is protected by bunkers on the front, back and right sides. Out-of-state guests can reserve tee times an unlimited amount of days ahead of time.
