Springdale Golf Club in Princeton

This course was built in the middle of Princeton University. There are many sand bunkers and trees throughout the course. The greens are small, and the fairways are narrow. The signature hole is #17, a 404-yard, par 4. There is water that comes into play on two holes. This club was originally founded in 1895 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. In addition, it was recognized by "GOLF Magazine" in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." William S. Flynn and Howard Toomey redesigned the course in 1938.
