Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville
This is a very beautiful course. The front nine is open and flat, and the back nine is tree lined and hilly. There is water that comes into play on a few holes. "Golf Digest" rated this course 60th best out of "America's 100 Greatest Courses" for 1995-96, and 43rd in the same category for 1997-98. The same publication also rated it as the 4th "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998. Other awards include a 47th ranking by "GOLF Magazine" in the category of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, and 51st for 1997 and 1999. "GOLFWEEK" afforded it 70th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1997, 56th for 1998 and 40th for 1999.
