This course has water hazards (in particular, a 125-acre lake) coming into play on seven holes. The club has hosted the Kroger Senior Tournament qualifier, Nike Miami Valley Tournament, and the 1988 Ohio Amateur Championship. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the #1 "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and also chose it as 20th "Best in State" course for 1995-96.
