Selva Marina Country Club in Atlantic Beach
The greens are small and rolling and were redone in 2000. Since the course is only a half mile from the ocean, wind comes into play on every hole. A links-style layout, it has wide fairways. The signature hole is #18, a 501-yard par 5, which features a plaque in the fairway commemorating Jack Nicklaus for his first double eagle, shot with a 4-iron in the 1966 Greater Jacksonville Open (GJO). The course also hosted the GJO in 1965 and hosted the Lady Jacksonsville Open, won by Sandra Haynie, in 1975.
