This hilly course has tree-lined fairways. Water comes into play on one hole. The course offers a great variety of challenges, including some elevated tees, and others that require blind tee shots. Robert White (1929), Alfred Tull (1965) and Robert Trent Jones (1965) have done redesigns on the course.
