Riverdale Dunes Knolls Public Links - Course 2 in Brighton
This facility has two eighteen holes courses. The Dunes Course is a Scottish-links design featuring water hazards in play on eight holes. The greens are fast, and the fairways are very hilly. "Golf Digest" rated this course 22nd best under the category of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in their 1996 list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play." The same publication ranked it 95th best under the 1996 category of the "Top 100 You Can Play in the U.S.," and 19th among the "Top 75 Public Courses" for 1990. "Golf Digest" also rated it as the 8th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 17th best for 1997-98. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" afforded it 95th among the "Top 100 Courses You Can Play" in the U.S. for 1996. The Knolls Course is an older and more traditional design.
