Rancho Maria Golf Club in Santa Maria
This demanding course, located in the foothills southwest of Santa Maria, features many trees on every hole. There are no parallel fairways and the greens are small and fast. The signature hole is #16, a 424-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot to a green protected on the left by a huge eucalyptus tree. Tee times are reserved two days in advance for weekday play.
