Pinehurst National Golf Club in Pinehurst
This course is fair for all skill levels. The course was built on rolling terrain and has tall pine trees lining most of its fairways. There are creeks that come into play several times. The signature hole is #5, a 439-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over a rock-lined creek to the green. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 17th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 15th best for 1997-98.
