Pebble Beach Golf Links - Course 1 in
Pebble Beach Golf Links is the best-known course on the West Coast and perhaps in the U.S. A GOLF MAGAZINE "Gold Medal Resort," it boasts small greens and narrow fairways bordered by deep rough. There are spectacular ocean views from many of the holes, including #18, a 548-yard, par 5, which curves around the rocky shoreline. The wind is usually a major factor, and proper club selection is paramount if you hope to score well.
Hole #5, a 166-yard par 3, was redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1996 to play along the cliffs, with the new tee placed behind the green on hole #4. Holes #8, 9, and 10 are considered the most difficult holes, and #18 is a
