Otter Creek Golf Course - Course 3 in Columbus
This facility has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These course's are located on 380 acres of hilly terrain and among thousands of trees. Water hazards come into play on a couple of holes, and large trees will catch a bad tee shot. "Golf Digest" rated the North/West Course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. In the publication's "Best in State" category, it was ranked 5th for 1995-96, and 3rd for 1997-98. It was also rated 15th among the "Top 75 Public Courses" for 1990, and was named 15th among the "Top 75 Upscale Courses" for 1996. In addition "GOLF Magazine" rated it 53rd best under the 1996 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S."
