Oakwood Golf Club in Lake Wales
This is a difficult course that has new challenges every time you play it. There are many sand bunkers, mounds and moguls throughout the entire course. Large oak trees and a defined cut of rough line the fairways. There are two water hazards and many areas of preserved wetlands that come into play on many holes. Hole #18, a 405-yard, par 4, features a dogleg right fairway and a water hazard that must be carried on the approach to the green. The greens are somewhat sloped and reasonably fast. There are elevated tee boxes and greens throughout the course.
