Mountain Glen Golf Course in Newland
This club has fairways that are fairly wide open, and typically flat. The greens are medium-sized with moderate breaks, and there are some pine and maple trees, and Rhododendron bushes lining the fairways. Man-made lakes and a creek come into play on sixteen holes. One of the most challenging holes is #11, a 450-yard, par 4, which is tree lined on both sides and requires a shot straight uphill to an elevated green.
