Mohawk Valley Country Club in Herkimer
This somewhat narrow course is not very difficult. The fairways are not tree lined, but they are bordered by a thick cut of rough. In addition, the small greens are fast, and water hazards come into play on two holes. The signature hole is #4, a 335-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee over a stream to the fairway, then an approach shot over a stream to the elevated green. When playing an eighteen hole round, the men play both sets of tees, switching after nine holes.
