Mississippi State University Golf Club in Starkville
This course was built on hilly terrain and has water hazards that come into play on some holes and many trees lining the fairways. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The signature hole is #16, a 410-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee to a dogleg right fairway, then an approach shot to an elevated green. Brian Ault completed the back nine in 1989. Marvin Ferguson did the routing on the original nine holes.
