Meramec Lakes in Saint Clair
This somewhat open course has front nine that is a links-style design. There are only a few trees that can affect your shots. The back nine is more wooded and narrower than the front nine. Overall, water hazards come into play on seven holes. The terrain is rolling, so expect uneven lies. Furthermore, the large greens vary in undulation and are medium speed, and five holes are protected by greenside sand bunkers. This club irrigates its fairways, but not the rough, so be prepared for some difficult shots out of the rough.
