Macon Family Golf Course in Macon
This course features open fairways because of its newly-planted trees. The small greens are firm and difficult to hold. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on five holes, and sand bunkers have been scattered throughout the course's design. The signature hole is #7, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green sloping from back to front and featuring a large sand bunker guarding the front, and water in play on both the right and directly behind the green. This course is the site of the Middle Georgia Golf Academy. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.
