Kankakee Country Club in Kankakee
This somewhat flat course features fast greens and narrow fairways. Furthermore, numerous sand bunkers have been positioned on the fairways and around the greens. The signature hole is #17, a 532-yard, par 5, requiring shots up a fairway that is intersected by two creeks and bordered by a large river flowing alongside the entire length of the hole. John Darrah added ten new holes and redesigned the existing eight in 1963.
