Janesville Country Club in Janesville

This club was originally founded in 1894 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. "GOLF Magazine" also named it to its 1995 list of the "First 100 Clubs in America." The back nine is more hilly and wooded than its front nine. There are two ponds that come into play on three holes. The greens are elevated and well bunkered. This 100-year-old design has several mature trees lining its fairways. Nearly all the fairways, with the exception of five, are dogleg configurations. The signature hole is #7, a 446-yard, par 4.
