Illinois State University Golf Course in Normal
This course has large greens and enough variety to challenge the most experienced golfer. The course was built on rolling terrain, and the fairways are tree lined. Water hazards come into play on four holes, and numerous sand bunkers were positioned throughout the course. This course underwent major renovations in 2000, and opened for play in July 2001. All greens and bunkers were reconstructed, the fairways were converted to bentgrass, and an irrigation system was installed. The club also purchased a fleet of brand new electric golf carts. The club offers discounts for juniors and seniors on weekdays, and season passes are also available. For additional information call (309) 438-8065.
