Hidden Creek Golf Club in Burleson
This links-style course is hilly and tight with trees lining every hole. Two holes have split fairways that give a player the option of a shorter, more difficult route, or a longer, safer route. There are sand bunkers placed strategically in the landing areas and around the greens. The greens average 7,200 square feet, are fast and have occasional subtle breaks. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on seven holes, and dogleg fairways on eight others. The signature hole is #8, a 448-yard, par 4, requiring a 220 yard tee shot over a creek to a narrow landing area, then a second shot down a tight, tree-lined dogleg left fairway to a well protected, two-tiered green.
