This course, which completed $400,000 in capital improvements during 1997, was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect many uneven lies. The many tees located on ridges will cause golfers to alter their shots, and the fairways are lined by both wetlands and oak trees. Extensive mounding comes into play on the fairways and around the greens. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and as the 59th best under the category of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in their 1996 list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play." The other tee shown is an additional men's tee. Weekend green fees are in effect Friday through Sunday. The 6,002-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.3 and slope of 130.
