Hartwell Recreation Golf Course in Cincinnati
Many of the fairways on this course are lined by out-of-bounds stakes. The course was built at two separate elevations. The bottom level was built in a river basin, while the upper level plays through the hills. The par 3's are difficult. Hole #7, a 203-yard, par 3, is very scenic and calls for a tee shot that will drop ninety-five feet to the fairway below. The greens are small and water hazards come into play on two holes. This course is owned by the local gas and electric company. Ladies play from the same set of tees as the men.
