Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club - Course 1 in Vero Beach
This club has two eighteen hole courses, the River Course and the Harbor Course. The River Course is the more difficult of the two courses. This course has an "Aqua Driving Range" complete with island greens. There are twenty strategically-placed ponds on the course, which come into play on fourteen holes, sometimes coming into play twice on one hole. This course was built alongside an estuary. The River Course was built on flat terrain and has tree-lined fairways. This course has five holes with designated grass landing areas that are surrounded by marshes. One difficult hole is a par 5, with the exception of the two small grass landing areas and the green, the entire hole is marshlands. The greens are larger than the Harbor Course and slope from back to front. In the summer months, the club allows reciprocal play.
