This resort was name to "GOLF Magazine's" 1996 list of "Silver Medal Resorts. The course was built on hilly terrain and is nestled in a valley between two mountain ranges. The finishing holes are best known for having a strong prevailing wind that can cause players to mis-club. Tee times can be reserved through the resort when reservations for accommodations are made. This course was renovated by Rees Jones in 1991. Many fairways were raised to take care of ground moisture.
