El Dorado Country Club in Mckinney
This course features narrow fairways and greens that are extremely sloped. There are water hazards coming into play on approximately eleven holes, plus numerous greenside sand bunkers add to the course's overall level of difficulty. The U.S. Senior Open qualifier and sectionals are held at this course every year. Due to fire, the clubhouse burned to the ground on November 23, 1996. A new clubhouse opened in early 1998.
