Edgewood Country Club - Course 1 in River Vale
This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. Each course is tight and the tees play longer than they indicate on the scorecard. The greens are rolling and somewhat smaller, and the fairways have a first, second and primary cut of rough on the borders. The most difficult holes are #6 on the White Course, a 401-yard, par 4, requiring an approach shot onto a green protected by water in the front, and #7 on the Blue Course, a 193-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot that must carry over water.
