Eagleglen Golf Course in Elmendorf Afb
This military course has water hazards coming into play on several holes, plus numerous sand bunkers protecting the greens and fairways. The small greens are fast, and the narrow fairways are tree lined. "Golf Digest" rated this as the #1 "Best in State" course for 1995-96 and 1997-98. This course annually hosts the "Alaska International Pro-Am," "State Amateur," and "Public Links" golf tournaments.
