This is a typical southern links-style course. It has fairly open fairways, and the greens are severely undulating. Every hole has mounds lining the sides of the fairways and are bordered by knee-high, fescue grass rough. Water hazards come into play on eight holes. The signature hole is #8, a 508-yard, par 5, featuring a creek that flows up the middle of the fairway from tee to green and several scenic waterfalls.
