Downers Grove Park District Golf Course in Downers Grove

This course features rolling terrain, a meandering creek, plus tree-lined fairways that afford generous landing areas. Founded in 1892, this club was listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. and the original site of the Chicago Golf Club. In addition, "GOLF Magazine" recognized it in their 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America." Tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays. David Gill redesigned three holes in 1976, and it was redesigned again by Steven Halberg in 1992 for its centennial celebration.
