Desert Pines Golf Club in Las Vegas
Desert Pines Golf Club is one of Las Vegas` most enjoyable playing experiences. More than 2,000 pine trees line the championship golf course giving it a "Carolina" look and feel. In addition to the thousands of mature pine trees lining the fairways, white sand bunkers protect large, undulating greens with water coming into play on 9 of the 18 holes. Desert Pines is located just minutes from downtown and less than 15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. This course provides players of all abilities a fun and rewarding experience. This course was built in memory of Roy Dye, the brother of the world renowned golf course architect team of Alice and Pete Dye. The course was officially dedicated to him just before its grand opening in February, 1997, and a commemorative plaque was placed on a pine tree located in the center of the course's putting green. ALSO IN THE BAG The clubhouse is stocked with quality merchandise including Callaway club rentals and name brand golf apparel. Duffers Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily and includes the Champions Room for private functions and meetings.
