Desert Lakes Golf Course in Fernley
This course has greens that vary between undulating and flat. The course has thirty-three lakes and many white sand bunkers. Even though this is a public course, it boasts a country club atmosphere. The signature hole is #5, a 159-yard, par 3, called "Hangin' Tree." On this hole, players need to aim for the center of the green because if you're short or long, you'll find water or a bunker. The nine hole rate is only available in the afternoons.
