Des Moines Golf & Country Club - Course 1 in West Des Moines
This club has two eighteen hole courses, both of which are challenging. The width of the fairways range from narrow to wide open, and the greens are fast. The club hosted the 1999 Senior U.S. Open. "Golf Digest" rated the North Course as the 5th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. Roger Packard redesigned these courses. On Mondays, these courses don't open until noon.
