Deer Creek Country Club in Jacksonville
This course was built on rolling terrain with a few tree-lined fairways. Water hazards coming into play on every hole except #13. All the fairways have a standard cut of rough defining the fairways. The large greens are somewhat sloped and fast. There are many sand bunkers, water hazards, and wetlands coming into play throughout the design. The signature hole is #18, a 481-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot over water to a large green. This exclusive club requires the reciprocal player's head professional call in advance to arrange for a tee time.
