Country Club of Whispering Pines - Course 1 in Whispering Pines
This resort offers two outstanding eighteen hole courses. The championship East Course was built on the naturally rolling terrain and has tree-lined fairways. The greens are large, undulating, and well bunkered. This course is considered one of the most challenging tests of golf in the Sandhills. The West Course rambles through rolling hills, and past sparkling lakes and streams. There are water hazards that come into play on ten holes, and the tree-lined fairways are relatively narrow. The greens are large and undulating. The West Course is one of the most scenic and challenging courses in the area. The club seasons run from September 28 to November 18, and March 24 to May 20.
