Country Club of Jackson - Course 1 in Jackson
This private club offers three nine hole courses. These tree-lined courses have very large greens and narrow fairways. The terrain is undulating, and there are sand bunkers and water hazards coming into play on many holes. These courses are located in a very scenic area which is home to an abundance of wildlife, including fox, squirrels, and alligators. "Golf Digest" rated the Azalea Course as the 5th "Best in State" course for 1995-96. Occasionally the Dogwood Course is played in combination with the Cypress Course. Guests are only allowed to play the course when accompanied by a club member.
