Coonskin Golf Course in Charleston
This executive course was built on flat terrain, but located in the hills. The course is wide open at times, and at other times seems like a forest. The course features a few small greens with a little mounding here and there. The Elk River flows alongside the course on the back nine. The most difficult hole is #13, a 295-yard, par 4, featuring a dogleg left fairway. The course is enjoyable to walk. This course is one of four Kanawha County courses. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.
