Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase
This very old, traditional and private course is loaded with an abundance of character and charm. Its prestigious atmosphere is a result of obtaining many distinguished golfing titles and members throughout the years. The 1921 U.S. Open was held here and the winner was Jim Barnes. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 5th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 4th best for 1997-98.
