Colonial Springs Golf Course - Course 1 in East Farmingdale
This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. All three courses are Scottish links-style designs which feature greens, fairways, and tees. The courses were built on gently rolling terrain and all basically play the same. The fairways are open and well bunkered, and the greens are large. There is a twelve acre man-made lake that comes into play on six of the twenty-seven holes. The signature hole is #7 on the Valley Course, a 520-yard, par 5, which was cut out of a valley. The PGA Cadillac Pro Am was played on the Pines/Lakes Course in 1995. Tee time reservations are mandatory; walk-ons are not allowed to play here.
