Athens Country Club - Course 1 in Athens
This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses have small, elevated greens that are well bunkered, and narrow fairways that are lined with large trees. Four ponds come into play on both the East and South Courses. Hugh Moore redesigned the original eighteen holes in the 1940's. The signature hole on the South Course is #1, a 457-yard, par 5.
