Angels Trace Golf Links - Course 1 in Sunset Beach
This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The North Course features wide-open fairways, whereas the South Course has extremely narrow, tree-lined fairways. The enormous greens on both courses are severely undulating and difficult to read. There are natural streams running through both courses, and sparkling lakes bordered by oyster shells. Water hazards come into play on nine holes on the North Course and thirteen holes on the South Course. The signature hole for the North course is #5, a 382-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway protected by many sand bunkers, then an approach shot to the large green guarded by a water hazard in the front and numerous bunkers in the rear. The signature hole for the South Course is #14, a 568-yard, par 5, featuring a double dogleg fairway, and requiring a well-positioned approach shot to a difficult green. Carts are mandatory.
