Alpine Country Club in Cranston
This course was built on mostly flat terrain, but there are a few mounds that can cause uneven lies. The fairways are wide open, and the wind frequently becomes a factor, so proper club selection is at a premium during these times. There is water that comes into play on three holes, and the large greens typically slope from front to back. The most difficult hole on the course is #18, a long 438-yard, par 4, requiring a long tee shot up a slight dogleg fairway, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green.
